Hi, I’m Claydan also known as ‘Dan’. I have been producing for over 6 years and have an obsession with all things music, whatever the genre, from making rap beats to acoustic folk songs, R&B bangers to film scores, I enjoy it all!

As a producer, it’s my goal to help an artist grow and confidently take risks with their ideas. As an artist myself, I understand how working in an environment that doesn’t feel comfortable or supportive can restrict artistic development. That isn’t the case at Clay Studios. I am intrigued by each artist’s unique perspective on the world and believe that, combined with my technical advice and creative encouragement, we have the perfect recipe for success.

I have many years of experience in music, I started my journey in the West End theatres, working alongside incredible composers such as Andrew Lloyd Webber and starring in shows such as The Book of Mormon. It was here my musical foundations were cemented. After leaving the theatre world, I went to BIMM University to study Songwriting and Music Production. Since then I’ve been working with artists, producers and musicians, helping them to achieve their individual creative goals.

Recently I’ve had the pleasure to work with artists who have over 4.1 million views and over 17.000 monthly listeners on Spotify. One of my clients had an exclusive interview on BBC Radio Essex, as well as multiple plays on the platform.
